OCU - It would be OK only if you did NOT attempt to use the bar phone. Now, if you simply walked in and took a stool, rested your long gun against the bar under wall, close to your leg, ordered a beer and commenced talking on your Cell phone - no one would care - but using a coin phone would arouse much suspicion.
BTW - is this a Gay bar we are talking about? In that case - do not order Coors.
Since I only own 'long guns' I suspect that it would be awkward taking one of them into a bar, despite having the right to do so, even if I was only going there to use the phone
