I got it now. A press briefing is when Jay Carney tells lies for Obama. A press conference is when he tells his own lies. That's a lot of difference. I stand corrected.

Perhaps, IF it had been a press conference, WHICH IT WAS NOT! It was the regular daily White House press briefing, it was the Washington press corp that tried to turn it into a 'single subject' event, NOT Jay Carny.
