...every press conference has an announced subject they want to "spin". It keeps the press from asking questions about things the administration would rather ignore.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Why would someone like Jay Carney, who holds a DAILY press briefing, have a need to even call a press conference? I suspect that CNN just used incorrect terminology. Every where else that I've seen comments about what Jay Carney said today, it only mentioned it as a 'press briefing', something that he does virtually EVERY DAY.
