that the nation is in the grips of one of the worst and most severe winter storms in its modern history. We have been watchng the weather channel and they say that it is likely that Chicago will set a new record for low temeratures with records kept for over one hundred years.
In Minnesota, the governor has closed the state's schools for the first time in seventeen years and they have wind chills of forty degrees below zero. They noted it is not that cold on Mars.
In Georgia tomorow, the high will be below 25.
Here in southern Illinois we will have wind chills of 25 degrees below zero. Lucy and I are blessed that we are warm and dry as Lucy looks out the window at the wind gusts and the falling snow.
