My wife drives a Honda Accord and while they are reliable and they get good gas milage, when they do breakdown they cost a fortune to fix. Even something as simple as a tail light bulb could cost you 10 times, or more, than what you'd pay for one for say a Chevy or a Ford. And they go through brake pads like they were made of butter. My wife has 105,000 miles on her 2003 Accord and it's on it's 3rd set of brakes and needs to be checked again soon. When I sold my 2001 Chevy Blazer in February it had 110,000 miles and still was on it's original set of brake pads and the last time I had them checked, a few weeks before, I was told I still had 30% on the front and 40% on the rear.

Anyway, good luck.

Clo,

Glad to hear you bought a better car. Honda is supposed to be one of the most reliable brands around and they also hold their resale value.

Regards,

Joe
