The Bible makes no statement on whether the government should take money from some people and give to others at all, one way or the other, period!!!!!

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

I believe,
the original statement was, is it correct for the
government to forcibly take from some people to
give to other people?

And the answer to that question has got to be 'NO!'.

Ask "Should we help the needy and less fortunate
amongst us?" And the answer is 'Yes'.

The problem lies in the fact that if the government
has the authority to take from these people and give
to those people . . . invariably it takes from
everybody and enriches the already rich.

One last question . . .
Should I take the food out of my childrens mouths to
feed someone who is hungry . . . if that someone can't
be bothered to do anything to feed himself?

Zim.
