Thank you NewSun. Went back to Dec 18 restore. This desktop is having software problems. Freezing cursor, blinking windows. I probably have a bad driver somewhere or something. Been going on for many weeks until finally AVAST messed up. I don't use this computer to access the internet other than for standard tested programs, so who knows?
Folding is back so we'll see how long it stays up.
BAP - not sure if it's related, but last time I updated Avast on one of my computers, I got a black screen - I ended up rebooting it 2-3 times and finally even did a restore back to before the update to finally get it working again.
