OCU> Or would just as soon do away with those programs as well?

Yeah.
Especially when they are implemented at the federal
level.

With auto insurance - note that it is States that
mandate it. Not the federal. And, if there was
something fundamentally wrong with mandated car
insurance . . . we do have the Supreme Court to
strike it down.

Medicaid and medicare both should be ran at (and funded by)
the States. (I don't want them outlawed so much as
I'd like to see them paid and monitored by the State
and local governments - smaller pots for the thieves
to steal from and those paying for them will, hopefully,
keep a closer eye on it.)

Zim.

What about Social Security and Medicare, you have to pay for that? They appear to be 'mandates', so how is that they're not unconstitutional? Or would just as soon do away with those programs as well? And then there's auto insurance, most states make that mandatory as well.

I'm sorry, but TAXES are the price one pays for liberty.
