As I prepare to head off to Church this morning with mrs. micro, I have had a whole boat load of emotions and thoughts come over me like waves.
I LOVE this time of year and look forward to Thanksgiving every single year because from then on, it's Christmas Season!
But it's not just a season....
That baby born in a manger 2,014 years ago lives in our hearts all year round.
He went to prepare a place for us in Heaven, so that where HE is, we may be also..
HE HAD to come. He left the eternal glories of HEAVEN to take upon himself this decaying body of man, with all its weaknesses, diseases, sin, so that HE could become the only acceptable sacrifice to Almighty God for all of mankind's sins.
He came to seek and to save those who are lost and in need of a Savior! He came because HE LOVES US, HIS creation!
Oh my friends, that precious baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, born in a filthy animal stall sits upon the Throne of Heaven with HIS ARMS held out toward us, the scars from the Roman spikes that nailed him to a cross still visible, pleading for ALL to come to him for salvation, which he freely gives to ALL who but in simple faith ask for.
Just say, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. Please forgive me of my sins, and save me. Be my Lord and Savior from this day forever. In THY Holy name I ask it,, amen.
If you will trust HIM with your eternal soul, He will keep you and write your name down in HIS BOOK, the Lamb's book of life.
This is the greatest time to TRUST CHRIST, who came to earth in the form of a man to SAVE US from our sins.
ALL of us have sinned against God. Every single person ever born.
That sin can only be cleansed and forgiven by the Lord Jesus, who shed HIS BLOOD on that Roman Cross for YOUR SINS and my sins.
This is WHY HE CAME and WHY we celebrate HIS BIRTH.
If you have never trusted Christ to be your Savior, why not do it today before it is eternally too late. You cannot be saved after you die. You have that opportunity while you live. Eternity is a long time.
Why not spend it in heaven, rejoicing with the LORD and KING of GLORY forever?
Come to Christ today is my prayer and desire on my heart today for you!
God Bless you richly and MAY HE draw you unto himself and write your name in the Book of Life even THIS CHRISTMAS!
