Sun,
I can always count on you to have a vast array and broad assortment of many ideas to choose from every year!
Thanks!

Here is what I did in the ten minutes I had to go shopping this morning after I have been told several times already we are not getting each other anything.

Since I had to go and obtain a mileage log book for my upcoming business travels to make the IRS happy at Office Max, and the MALL just happens to be directly across the street, well, it was a mad dash.

I found a stunning set of Ruby earrings bordered by diamonds over a backing of 14k gold in a swirl pattern. They look awesome.
She said the other day she wanted some festive ear rings to wear on Christmas when we made the trek over to my parent's home to be with my entire family in the afternoon. These should look Christmassy and elegant at the same time.

I then went to KAY Jewelers and bought her from Jane Seymour's collection a white gold open heart necklace with diamonds on it.

I even snuck these both into the house and have them hidden in one of my chest drawers.

SO, she now has some things to open.

QUESTION.

In this room is where we dumped all the wrapping paper and bows. There is an empty shoebox in here as well.

Perhaps wrap these two things individually, and put them both in the shoebox, and wrap the shoebox?????

This way she won't know what's in the box.....

I have to do this quickly when she isn't looking or napping or something. I am hoping her sister will provide a distraction for me next week.

Anyway, I am done. I saved the chocolates for me! lol!!!!!!

micro....

Micro,

Start out with a box of Lindor Snowman truffles by Lindt - they're the best.

Follow that up with an electronic Bible either in the version Mrs. Micro prefers, or, if you can find one, one that has a couple versions along with her favorite.

Follow that up with tickets for her and a friend to the next Women of Faith conference coming to an area near you soon - include reservations to a nice hotel unless it's close enough to drive - in which case you include a certificate assuring her of your services to deliver and pick up at the door both days.

Next, a donation in her name to her favorite charity, or anonymous gift to a family in need for her.

And then wrap it all up in a good quality faux fur mink coat, obviously with all the pockets filled with a matched set of jewelry - ruby ring in one pocket, matching bracelet in another pocked, necklace and earrings in a third pocket - replace "ruby" with the gem of her choice.

And, of course, last, but not least, her very own i7 computer specially built for gaming with a pair of Titan video cards installed, which you graciously offer to set up for her and transfer files onto while you set up folding to run in the background along with disabling the switch that shuts off the computer. ;-)

That should get you started.

Sun :-)

p.s. a dozen roses, or a live orchid would not come amiss either ;-)
