Because they have a Contract. Written, Moral and Ethical, to live up to by law and community standards...

Anything less is illegal, tragic, and every patent, business license they control should be revoked, revert to the US Government.

Their top management, board should be imprisoned for massive fraud, theft of the public trust...

OCU:

Millions of America workers have already seen defined pensions disappear, and 1,000 companies per year are ending theirs. It's a good way to weaken the middle class and make workers dependent on the federal government. If the government is gonna give out free stuff why shouldn't companies bug out.
