I remember once . . I had contracted to buy a chest
of drawers . . I had put $50 down and was awaiting
delivery so I could pick it up and pay the rest of
it. The sales lady was nice, the 'customer service'
lady was a dog. I went to pick it up, and was told
I was supposed to pay for it then drive all over town
trying to find and actually pick it up . . . I looked
at my buddy and said "For 5 cents I'd demand my
deposit back." He handed me a nickel. I got my
fifty bucks back and went and bought from one of
their competitors.
No, Clo. If congress finally wakes up and finds out
they have allocated money for something stupid . . .
it is their duty to de-allocate the money.
