I don't mind (much) if they keep their money while they are alive. They should even be allowed to pass a few hundred thousand on to their heirs. I don't believe in any tax system that allows anyone to accumulate anywhere near their kind of money. I'm a 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s kind of guy when America's middle class prospered.

Gates and Buffett will probably donate the vast majority of their money to charities. Melinda is a gem.
