Good Morning OCU!

I believe the best thing about Dick Cheney is that I don't care a whit about his daughters, and what his daughter's believe about anything!!!

I don't believe that tyranny of necessity has a political hue to it as we all know absolute power comes from the barrel of a gun.

I remember vividly watching black South Africans being whipped in the streets with some sort of flailing device as if they were cattle. I remember seeing it over and over again.

Vividly.

Perhaps the Cheney girl did not notice people being whipped in the streets? But she noticed the sanctions?

The banality of idiocy is tedious.

When we turn our back on the denial of somebody elses basic human rights we become party to the oppressor.

There is a certain comfort and cogency to the thought that all the humans on the planet are in this together and that we are all accountable to each other.

And a friend in need is a friend in need.

If there is not civility to government and civility in foreign relations we are not human beings.
