HOUSTON — Landry Thompson loves to dance, and the 13-year-old’s dance instructors get a kick out of it too.

“It definitely is life to me,” said Emmanuel Hurd. “It means the world. It’s everything to me.”

That’s why the trio from Oklahoma traveled to Houston in the first place. To spend the weekend dancing and training with some of the industry’s best.

Police officials still aren’t commenting about what happened.

The group of dancers plans to return to Oklahoma Monday afternoon.

Maybe not. Do you really expect the police to be 100% colored blind in the face of today's crime statistics? Would you regard it as unusual for police to investigate a car parked in a gas station at 3:00AM? What would you do if you found a pretty blond out-of-state 13-year-old in that car with two adult men would didn't appear to be relatives?

BTW, my granddaughter is a 13-year-old dancer, student and teacher. I can't conceive of sending her to Houston with two adult non-relatives unsupervised. The mother must be a red state moron.
