Many social programs can work well in a just, united, and stable society. That is far from what we see emerging in America.
In Ma. we analyzed population stability, economic conditions, state wealth, public opinion, available medical facilities, existing insurance coverage, assistance from the federal government to lessen state costs, and a number of other factors before embarking on our MassHealth program. Obamaphiles appear to have considered none of these. They simply passed a misbegotten pile of crap all by themselves, and foisted it on the American people. We are just beginning to see the results of their gross incompetence. Peddling insurance, especially free stuff, is the easy part. Providing acceptable medical care at a reasonable cost is the hard part.
