latest bone discovery is john the baptist.

plainly these folks don't know that in the middle ages, no less than twelve different arms of john the baptist were on display along the pilgrimage routes of christendom.

there was big money in the reliquary business.

unfortunately, this means there's little hope of finding the right bones after all of this time. or bits of the true cross. or robes that jesus was covered by. those blokes were skillful, ambitious and relentless forgers.
