Haven't you heard, the deficit is at it's lowest level since before Obama took office:

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-10-30/budget-deficit-in-u-s-narrows-to-5-year-low-on-record-revenue.html

As for the bankruptcy issue, if these people try and pay their medical bills with a credit card and then go under, they'll not be able to write off their debts since the Right forced a change a few years ago where credit card debt can no longer be part of a bankruptcy deal. You, and eventually maybe even your estate, will be responsible for those credit card charges forever.

I guess we can now add credit card debt to that old idiom about death & taxes.

Well OCU, with so many Americans now having close to zero net worth beyond subsistance level (See 23 million 19-34 year-olds), bankruptcy is an idle threat. And more and more middle class Americans moving down to the lower class every day as Obamanation comes into full bloom. Things won't get really bad until a trillion or two per year of deficit and Fed printing stimulus abates. (See Free Obama Money)
