there are only expansive forces in the universe and mass-related contracting forces. the universe's expansion, time, the inertia of the planets and electrons, the photon scatter out of stars on the one hand. the tug of a black hole, of gravity, of an atom's nucleus on the other.

does it altogether matter what we call these opposing forces as they express themselves throughout nature?

this is all that we are. it is everything we think. it is every kind of variation we experience.

You are going to smash an 800lb copper probe into
what you imagine is a dirty snowball comet.....you have to come up with a theory and make 10 predictions!

Group A...Electrical comet in an electrical universe

Group B...Dirty snowball rock in a gravity universe

Group A makes 10 predictions and gets 10 correct.

Group B mades 10 predictions and gets 10 wrong.

The scientific community decided that group B
is correct but just needs more time and money
and a few adjustments and some imaginary matter,
energy etc and in time they will be shown to be correct....

meanwhile Group A is just ignored...and laughed at!

And that's the scientific methodSmile
