CA has a population of some 38 million.
That means, what, 0.1% got signed up?

California — which enrolled about 31,000 people in health plans last month

Let me see . .
CA has a population of some 38 million.
That means, what, 0.1% got signed up?

A more interesting question would be how many
folks saw their insurance premiums dramatically
increase.

Another concept to think about . . . what will it
do to the economy when folks have to shovel large
portions of their income into the pockets of the
insurance companies . . .

How many fewer new cars will be bought? How many
fewer vacation?
