micro,

I let the computer cool down for a day. Then on bringing it up this time it installed some driver and hopefully is in good shape again as folding is going. If things go bad again I will do as you say as I did find a Windows 7 CD. Don't know why this happened unless it was the driver. My keyboard is a little flaky.

Not sure how you are going to run machines at the plant. Didn't you say a new job is in the works?

Hi BAP!

Try this: Make sure that your BIOS is set to boot to dvd first in the boot order.

Then, insert your windows 7 disk in the tray of the drive and restart your computer. It should ask you ti boot to cd or dvd.

You want to select START UP REPAIR from the disk. That should replace the BOOT MGR and some other critical boot files which got munged.

That is what I would try.

You have the windows 7 disk?

Is your boot sequence in the BIOS set to boot to the cd or dvd first?

MAke sure of that and that put the disk in and boot to it and select START UP REPAIR.

I am just back from a shopping trip with my wife. We go me a new CHAPS fall sport coat for my upcoming trip to Chicago as well as a shirt that really goes well with it. Look great together and gives that sharp business casual in darker shades without the formal tie. Its not needed on this trip. I know these folks well. Just want to look nice without overkill.

Snagged a $180.00 coat for only $70.00 and we had another 30 percent off that! WOWSER!!!!!

Mrs. micro is one happy and thrifty camper.

I am all set for next week now and am praying that one of these meetings will prove to be successful.

Only time will tell but I have faith it will all work out.

Hope all is good with you and mrs. BAP??????

Obviously, my two machines at the plant are now down.

Hopefully we will get them running again in the future.

Post what happens when you attempt this fix please???

We'll try to help you with it.

Best to you,

micro...
