the viewing on Thursday and funeral on Friday was a difficult time but we made it through with lots of memories of my wife's sister. Over 500 came to the viewing and to comfort my brother in law and the other 3 sisters and the two daughters.
Joy comes in the morning. We laid her to rest a couple spots away from her parents so we can tend to the sites at the same time. There is nobody there anyway. It is simply a place to go and have some fond memories of one whom you have shared your lifetime with.
Death is a certainty for all of mankind. Where we spend eternity after that is a choice every individual must make before he or she dies. I am more than confident I shall see her as well as my wife again waiting for us, even as at the last breath, she told her husband she could see her mom and dad waiting for her on the other side.
That is true joy and hope. I know they will all be waiting for my wife and for me as well one day.
Today my wife and I are baby sitting a 3 month old who is our niece's newborn. She is a teacher and went back to school this week so we are helping out today.
What am I doing home?
Well, Monday afternoon I was let go by the head of the company so I am for the first time in my life, unemployed.
I am exploring other opportunities and talking with friends of mine in the industry and getting word out I am available. Next week I am going to Chicago to meet with an old friend and supplier of mine for 26 years to discuss the possibility of me doing something different for him and repping his product here in my area and Kentucky and Indiana.
I enjoy sales and have done it all my career so I would welcome a change of pace and I am considered an expert in the powder coating field as well so it would be an excellent combination.
I am weary of getting up at 4:15 a.m. all the time so a change of venue would do me good.
Pray for me as my wife and I transition to a different lifestyle.
my best,
micro....
