We have elections every 2 - 4 - and 6 years. If you don't like who's representing you in Washington you have a way of turning them out and replacing them with the people whom you think will better represent your interests. That's the amazing thing about the 'Joe six-packs' who consistently vote for Republicans. History has shown that they're voting over and over against their own best interests. The GOP is owned by the likes of the banisters and the Koch brothers and thrust me they have no interest whatsoever with what's good for the average American citizen.

Perhaps, OCU,
What you personally need to most think about . . .
is, what would keep the 'elites' from deciding to
'means test' Social Security.

What might keep them from telling you 'because you
have so much money in your IRA's and 401K's you
do not need Social Security.'

I do not see the problem for a government which passed
obambacare - who's obvious intention was to force
'these people' to pony up the bucks to subsidize
'health care' for 'those people'.

Zim.
