OCU> So you're suggesting that if the Social Security 'trust fund' was handed over to someone like J.P. Morgan

Again, off on a tangent.

Quit acting like obamba and trying to blame somebody
else for the problem.

Recognize the problem, and suggest a real solution.

No, I do not believe that entrusting America's
retirement assets to thieving bankers is a good idea.
But, neither is 'investing' America's retirement
assets in an organization which has no concept of
fiscal responsibility a good idea either.

Let me see . . how to explain things to . . . hmmm

"… the government defaults on Treasury Notes..."
. . . . and Social security is bankrupted.

"…China stops buying our paper…"
. . . And the treasury notes lose most of their value.

"…the Saudi's (and the rest of OPEC) decide to
barter oil in something other than dollars…"
. . . . Same thing.

Out of curiosity . . .
What would happen if Social Security surplus was
invested in multi-national corporations?

Zim.

So you're suggesting that if the Social Security 'trust fund' was handed over to someone like J.P. Morgan and then these same events took place, such as…

"… the government defaults on Treasury Notes..."

"…China stops buying our paper…"

"…the Saudi's (and the rest of OPEC) decide to
barter oil in something other than dollars…"

…that somehow the value of that 'trust fund' would NOT be impacted, EH?
