Obama's Jobs Bill was swell for public union employees who already had jobs. It also provided incentives for the unemployed to stay unemployed a while longer.
Those 'tax cuts' were the price Obama paid to get what little Republican support that he could for his jobs programs. Trust me, the progressive economists were demanding that the tax cuts should have been ditched in favor of more actual boots-on-the-ground jobs, but that was what it took to get something done, and who says Obama is not willing to compromise. Hell, that's all he's done since taking office. It's the damn Republicans who have never compromised on anything.
