Last Sunday, The Patriots lost in OT due to a first time in league history call of "pushing a teammate at the line of scrimmage" after the Jets coach alerted the referees to look for the infraction.
Last night, the Red Sox lost in the bottom of the ninth on a fielder interference call.
Both calls were correct but unfortunate in that they each determined the game winners. Red Sox certainly contributed to their demise with an unnecessary and errant throw to third base that the third baseman botched.
