I'd bet the 'shorts' already covered, that's why the week ended strong.

So far it looks like a flat open.

'Buy & Hold' is not for the weak of heart.
I don't trust the 'market,' too many crooks, not enough regulations.

All the people who went short last week will need to cover their bets. It's also reported that something like $47 Billion in cash was pulled out of the market on the run-up to the shutdown and potential default, and that money will now be moving back into something. It could be good for those of us who stood firm and rode out the storm without trying to second guess the markets. 'Buy & Hold' is still the best long term investment strategy and a week like this pastt week simply reconfirms that, in spades.
