Please, please, please sit down and read The Art of War by Sun Tzu before the next continuing resolution and debt ceiling increases are due.
Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
The successful leader does not fight battles he cannot win. Politics is about being on the winning side and using wins to build further wins. For the love of this nation, would you please learn when to fight and when to accept compromise?
In case you are too deep in your bubble to realize it, you lost. It was clear to every citizen of the nation and to every economic and political leader in the world that your grandstanding was thoroughly inept and doomed to failure from the start. The most you can have done is to energize a shrinking base, and in doing so you have alienated the center. This strategy almost guarantees that you will always be in the minority.
There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare.
Please grow up. The nation deserves better.
