Hi Clo:

I begin looking at healthcare insurance for myself and a bunch of other folks tomorrow. I'm way behind waiting for more clarity. Didn't get it.

Not sure what your point is?

Buying insurance on the open market, you have choices of what type of policy you want.

If you want Medicare Plus isn't the person responsible for selecting which plan he wants?

Here's the good news, with Obamacare if you have a previous health condition you CAN get coverage.
If you have kids under 26 yrs they can stay on their parents insurance.

Being a 'woman' is NO longer a 'condition' that warrants higher charges by insurance companies.

and.....

Obamacare should be improved as we move along, as long as those in Congress want to IMPROVE IT & NOT kill it!
