President Barack Obama and House Republicans had a "good meeting" Thursday, but ended it without an agreement, the White House said.
"After a discussion about potential paths forward, no specific determination was made," the White House said in a statement. "The President looks forward to making continued progress with members on both sides of the aisle."
Talks between the White House and the House GOP are slated to continue into the evening, according to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
