NewSunR,

"The worst of it stayed south of us and north of us." Wow. That's cutting it close. You and micro (how's the big toe?, not to mention midriff and hand.) are showing we are all mortal.

Nevertheless our Stanford efforts show we can put in a small effort to do something about bad things.

I see our team has been 123 in rank. That's pretty good. ArVee ... any news on that? I haven't checked.

I wonder what happened to Tom(?)who was always on the team ... I can't remember his name.

It was an interesting night last night to say the least.

The storms and tornadoes that swept the mid-west found us taking shelter in our basement for about an hour - listening to the scanner, weather radar pulled up on a cell phone and a couple of news channels up on a tablet.

All is well here - my thanks ascend to my heavenly Father for His protection - almost 3" of rain and some light hail. The worst of it stayed south of us and north of us.

But my heart goes out to the residents that were not so fortunate. To Wayne, Nebraska, to Quimby, Iowa and all points in between and farther north and south. To the families in country homes that were damaged across Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa.

The laptop went to the basement with us, so was down for the night, but is back in production, the rest of the computers stayed up and running through the whole show.

Sun :-)

p.s - the last couple of days I've caught the occasional work unit that the computers love, but mostly they're slogging through those 8018s that cut production down to about a third what it could be :-(
