the constitution survived the civil war with a modification.

can it survive a party that is willing to harm the economy to get its way, regardless of the reelection of o and in spite of the republican house not garnering a majority of the vote.

this is a dramatic moment. the will of the people as expressed in electoral results is in play. america's future as an altruistic, mutually supportive people is the issue. the tea party has a sink or swim idea of society. will this brutal idea prevail?

I wonder if the unity of the usa can stand much more of a party that sets its principles above the democratic process. that is even willing to harm the economy to achieve what it failed to achieve in the ballot box.

this is a new phase of crazy. why do the sane states have to put up with the insane ones?
