Here's a good charter school. It's founder and CEO, Bill Winters, is one of the most dynamic men I have ever met. He was concerned about education in his community, and decided to do something about it, against the odds, almost single-handedly. Amazing!

the majority of Milwaukee's independent charter schools are not meeting performance expectations, according to statewide report card results for 2012-'13.
