A Texas appeals court on Thursday overturned the money laundering conviction for former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, the Associated Press reported, saying in a ruling that DeLay had been acquitted. He had been sentenced to three years behind bars, but his sentence was on hold during the appeals process.
