Last week showed how inconsistent or determined to lose many NFL teams are this year. See Detroit, Carolina, Cleveland, and Tampa. Bettors beware.
VIKINGS -6.5 vs Browns ***
Vikings return home to their cozy dome after two road losses to face 0-2 Cleveland who just bailed out on the season by trading RB Trent Richardson. Can't imagine Browns players give a shit about this game, knowing they are playing for next year's #1 draft choice with newbie QB Brian Hoyer at the helm.
Bears -2.5 at STEELERS ****
Steelers, one of my favorite organizations, suddenly have little or nothing on offense (9.0 ppg). Should be a simple win for the Bears. Ho hum!
Texans -2.5 at RAVENS **
If Arian Foster and Andre Johnson (and possibly Ed Reed) are healthy enough to play, this should be an easy win over the reorganizing, and now injured, Superbowl champs. Time for 2-0 Houston to assert themselves as AFC championship contenders.
