For myself, I think a black hole occurs where the fabric of the expansion caused by the big bang is rent.

Eventually the whole universe will get sucked into the millions of black holes caused by the expansion. These black holes will - like bubbles - resolve into a singularity. And the whole strange bang thing will happen again.

That's my story and in a physics of an abundancy of speculative theses, I don't see why this wouldn't be as likely to be right as many others!! :-)

Black Hole and Big Bang Nonsense......

(1) All alleged black hole universes pertain to a universe that is
spatially infinite, is eternal, contains only one mass, is not
expanding, and is asymptotically flat or asymptotically curved. But
the alleged big bang universes pertain to a universe that is spatially
finite (one case) or spatially infinite (two different cases), is of
finite age, contains radiation and many masses including multiple
black holes (some of which are primordial), is expanding, and is not
asymptotically anything. Thus the black hole and the big bang
contradict one another – they are mutually exclusive by their very
definitions.

(2) Consider two fixed, suspended masses. Experiment attests that when
they are released they approach one another (e.g. experiments of
Cavendish). General Relativity cannot even account for this observed
phenomenon. There is no impetus in General Relativity to make two
bodies approach one another. There is no set of Einstein field
equations, let alone a solution thereto, for the gravitational
interaction of two or more bodies. There is no existence theorem by
which it can even be asserted that Einstein’s field equations contain
latent solutions for two or more bodies. Einstein’s field equations
are nonlinear and so the Principle of Superposition is invalid in
General Relativity. Thus, if X is a solution to Einstein’s field
equations and Y is a solution too, be it the same as X or not, then X
+ Y is not a solution. Specifically, let X be a black hole universe
and Y a big bang universe. Then X + Y, i.e. (black hole universe + big
bang universe) is not a universe. Indeed X and Y relate to entirely
different sets of Einstein field equations and hence to entirely
different universes and so they have nothing whatsoever to do with one
another. The black hole big bang universe is obtained by
superposition, i.e. by X + Y. It is nonsense. It violates the very
physical and mathematical principles of General Relativity itself. It
is an arbitrarily manufactured universe that has no basis in General
Relativity and none in Newton’s theory either.
