yep. some of them can't see the distinction between a company and its management.
and indeed, some imagine the world to be a ladder when it is clearly a decision tree and the future resolves itself as it wishes.
i talked about a trust matrix a dozen years ago. but it would have been foolish (and lacking both humility and prescience) not to admit that there were many obstructions along the path ahead. And so here we still are.
if we are lucky enough to be on the path that providence chooses, i hope folks will not pretend they are soothsayers. but rather that they have learnt something about the world and its relationship to our expectations.
sadly, i suspect that won't happen. and that those who need it will think they are vindicated - without learning anything.
