Hi clo,

I don't think anyone has tried a different approach - to submit a grander agenda. Great leaders change perceptions. I think this is why O will go down as a decent president but not a great one. He hasn't been able to define an America that rises above these kind of wants. And he might have done. The opportunity was there.

Putin is making the point that Obama should be making. We ought to strive to be equal and equally respectful of one another, as sovereign nations. International law applies to everyone. Even the mightiest of the mighty."

You can write this down, a candidate running for office in the USA would NEVER get elected if they said we are 'not exceptionally.'

Obama was/is condemned for suggesting it long ago.
