This is typical of what happens every time Apple holds one of these events, the price goes up for a couple of days before and then drops a bunch immediately afterwards simply because it didn't prove to be the 'second coming'. When they actually start selling the new iPhones and the media starts to show the long lines outside the Apple stores, the stock price will creep back up. My son, who already owns about 70 shares of Apple, told me on Sunday that if it drops more than a few percentage points that he's going to buy 10 or 12 more shares.
