I applaud these two Democrats who knew why they were elected, despite the cost.
When you vote your conscience you will be able to live with your decisions.
Its a damn shame their courage is being punished!
Colorado Pols Ousted Over Gun Laws
They took a stand, and then they were knocked down. Two Democratic state senators in Colorado have been kicked out of office after helping to pass tough gun-control laws. John Morse, the president of the Senate, shepherded legislation that limits ammunition magazines and expands background checks in the wake of last year's mass shooting at a movie theater in Aurora. "It has been an honor to represent the 11th Senate District," Morse said in his concession speech. "It's been hugely rewarding." He and fellow Sen. Angela Giron are the first Colorado politicans to be removed in a recall.
