it is interesting and informative to compare and contrast the different approaches to conflict taken by GWB & BO. Obviously we need to wait to see the outcome of BO's. Bush went on his own against Iraq after months of pounding the drums of war on the umverified pretext,latter proven incorrect, that Saddam had WMD. BO with irrefutible evidence that Assad depoyed WMD (after A was warned by O that doing so would "cross the red line") went to Congress asking approval to take critical reponsive action. In that O did the right thing whereas GWB did not. O, even while asking congress for approval, never gave up his on his threat to excerise a strike even w/o Con's approval, thus keeping the pressure on A. His admin via SoS Kerry seems be working out a viable compromise. So we wait but I wish GWB had been as patient, prudent and strong as BO has been.
