...ya think he will take the same salary for being mayor that a city garbage man makes? If not, his concern for income inequality is a straw dog.

De Blasio Has Wide Lead in Democratic Primary for New York Mayor

Bill de Blasio, who ran for mayor promising to address concerns about income inequality and controversial police practices, won far more votes than any other candidate in New York’s Democratic mayoral primary on Tuesday, according to an exit poll.

But it was not immediately clear if he had won the 40 percent needed to avoid a runoff with the second-place finisher, either William C. Thompson Jr. or Christine C. Quinn.
