hi doma,

i didn't say that.

i'm a restricted set of purchasable weapons, background checks, tight licensing kinda guy. simple guns for a narrow set of uses by responsible people is doable eg farmers protecting cattle. but guns for anyone makes a violent society.

also, i have no illusions that an armed populace acts as a viable brake on a sovereign army turned against its own people.

So only Governments have the right to arm themselves
as well as spy on their people....?
