hi faul,

your question was too easy. you assume all lives are equal and that the outcomes are forseeable.

but in fact, folks are usually wise after the event and they distinguish the value of life between us and them. it's probably also legitimate to value age differently.

would you save 10,001 seniors, or 10,000 toddlers?

Just because i consider it an act of humanity to
always save the many at the expense of the few
doesn't make we in favour of any government wars...
including Syria.
