i wonder if there is a sort of political argument within the intelligence establishment.

some of the folks we see wheeled out seem to be neocon in character. others slightly less aggressive.

the hayden character is exactly the kind of two dimensional loon i feared might be involved. and those unbalanced, righteous types are the reason why there can be no benign surveillance.

it is lost. it just takes time for understanding to percolate. even the wavoid bubble isn't entirely immune.

i suspect that control of the narrative via the architecture of information is a large part of us imperium.

now that the framework is exposed, i hope the world will change for the better.

i don't think governments will weather the storm. they have to change the way they operate. they might start by obeying the principles they ostensibly proclaim.
