I hope the rest of the 188 counties that voted to oppose weapons of mass destruction stand up & be counted... At the very least, condemn Assad!
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has approved a resolution that authorizes military action in Syria in response to the Assad regime's alleged use of chemical weapons.
The vote in the committee was 10-7, with
Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) voting present.
The resolution now goes to the full Senate.
