My granddaughter just completed a week of "dance team" focused on strengthening, contemporary, and hip-hop for advanced dancers. These kids have become more athletes than artists. Dangerous competitive cheerleading next, much to our dismay. She'll be a flyer, just like my twins who are in a less demanding program.
