there was some panel discussion a few months ago with NSA, MSFT, Thibideau and a couple others on the panel discssing TPMs, bios, Win8 identity and so on.

SKS asked a question from the audience pretty much directly at the NSA to the tune of ... you keep pushing it and sitting on panels, why aren't you doing it???

the answer was something to the effect of 'we are studying it'
