Good Afternoon KTC!

We are on the same frequency.
Alas, destroying all your enemies in one fell swoop, and annihilating all the evil on earth before Thanksgiving would in all ways be splendid.

I'm a few miles from Teddy Roosevelt's house here on Long Island and I see lot's of evidence that the Hawai'ian in the White House is doing his best to speak softly and carry a big stick.

The problem with the soft/big stick dogma is that to be effective you have to pound somebody with the stick once-in-a-while. Or more often.

I am not sure of the proper balance mind you.
My policy is "do what has to be done".

I take Machiavelli seriously.

I like to think of myself as a Machiavellian Jeffersonian. You have to at times kick a little butt to get the job done!!

"The three of them have shown what they are willing to do in Libya, Somalia,
Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Don't forget Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. We did a swell job there also. Now if we can just bomb up Iran.
