I suppose they are saying you can choose to be spied on by Google and the NSA using a mobile device instead.

The issue that needs sorting out is access to keys.

There needs to be a trusted key provider who doesn't act at the behest of the intelligence services, but will offer access to unique keys on application by law enforcement.

ok, so there are some that fear MSFT, fair enough.

But what does platform neutrality of TPMs have to do with the issue some are showing concern over.

A nuclear bomb is a platform neutral device. So what.
